NBA Women Lawyers Division Announces 50th Anniversary Service Projects
The NBA Women Lawyers Division (WLD) is excited to partner with Dress For Success, and Girls, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee, for its 50th Anniversary Service Projects. You may ship gently used professional attire directly to Dress For Success in Memphis, or bring the items to the 97th NBA Annual Convention. If shipping, please indicate that the items are part of the NBA Women Lawyers Division donations.

The NBA Women Lawyers Division’s We Empower Mentoring Program Completes Successful Series For The Second Year
The NBA Women Lawyers Division awards four (4) $1000 stipends for We Empower Mentoring Program participants to attend the 97th NBA Annual Convention in Memphis. Thanks to the generosity and support of Attorneys Paulette Brown, Lonita Baker, CK Hoffler, Cynthia Reed, and Judge Cenceria Edwards for supporting this effort.
The We Empower Mentoring Program is a four-month mentoring program that was launched in 2021 by the NBA Women Lawyers Division. The 2022 mentoring cycle had 90 participants mostly from the six (6) HBCU law schools. The Closing Program was held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Thanks to all of the 2022 Mentors. Sharon Bridges serves as the 2021-2022 Chair for the NBA Women Lawyers Division.
